Is what you do in alignment with who you are? When we attempt to function in roles to which we are not created to do, we may do them well, but we actually have limited effectiveness. There really is a difference between doing good at something versus being “best” and leveraging your expertise.
One of the things that I am most encouraged by is partnering with thought leaders who have a passion to impact leadership through business. We do this through our strategic community built on the principle of “co-opetition.” When we link arms together, and foster a community where “…all tides rise all boats…” the impact is amazing.
We use the term ‘Magnitude of Mission’ to describe if your passion/mission/values are all functioning in ALIGNMENT with who you are. If this is happening then what you do in your business, personal relationships, and community will be energizing and your contribution thriving. To do this well requires an authentic, and strategic partnership…trusted connections with other like-minded professionals who “get it.”
Ask yourself these key questions:
1). What’s keeping me from breaking past the lid in my business as a solopreneur?
2). How would my work/life balance look if, each day I was doing what I am most passionate about doing?
3). Why haven’t I evaluated ‘who I am’ with ‘what I do’ prior to right now?
