What is the CVI?
The Core Values Index (CVI) is the only human assessment instrument that characterizes the innate or “real” unchanging nature of a person. It is the first tool to accurately and reliably measure the various core values that are inscribed into your inherent nature.
Most assessments measure at the level of our adapted personality and therefore cause unreliable responses given changing contexts. The CVI goes back to you at your roots, the way you were born, so while some tests try to predict how you’ll respond to a certain situation, the CVI discerns what motivates you to respond. In other words, the CVI can show you how to motivate others, too!
Also, the CVI claims to yield a 94% repeat score validity year after year of taking the instrument. Most tools have a repeat score validity of 70% which then drops to under 60% after 90 days and then 50% in a year’s time.
